People are bombarded with stupid ideas, spiritual entertainment, and empty promises to keep them distracted from real issues.
People cannot process so much. So they shutdown
People then cannot listen or see what is useful to them.

Work with the wisest and most capable people to analyze and solve the problems rather than entertain yourself with convenient, free, and entertaining social media.
Personal responsibility: just as it is your responsibility to eat good food and attend good school, it is your responsibility to connect with the right people rather than rely on social media.
